About Swami Ji
After years of praying to Gurudev Lord Dattareya (Hindu Sanatan God), a couple was blessed with their first child. Born due to the blessings of AdiGuru Datta, an avatar of the trimurti(Brahma,Vishnu and Shiva), this child grew up to be extremely intelligent, kind and graceful. However, an intelligent mind is always curious and hungry for knowledge.Â
Having been surrounded by a pious Hindu
family and instilled with Hindu(Sanatan) sanskar since a very young age, his
curiosity set him on the most ardous path of finding the the eternal truth of life.
This path that he walked on, with courage and trust in his heart, to become a
bodh(enlightened) Guru. A venerated, generous Guru, whom we know, today, as
Swamiji Anilji Maharaj. In this swamp of mordern world, in which we all are stuck,
He is the only vine that can pull us out. His journey from being a seeker to being
the bestower of eternal knowledge is most astounding.
For forty years, our Parampujya Swamiji Anilji Maharaj had dedicatedly served his
two Gurus, before being blessed with realisation of God within/Atmagyan. He
now aspires to unravel the wisdom of experiencing perpetual bliss in our daily
routines, while remaining unaffected and detached from clinging worldly emotions,
to all and sundry. Through the platform of SUGWAY(Society of Understanding God
Within and Around You), an organization founded by Him, He executes his holy
intent of paving the way to divine happiness for one and all.
Worldly Life:
In a district of Nagpur(India) on the auspicious date of 12th february 1948, Pramila
and Damodar Bharatey were blessed with a glorious baby boy. They named him
Anil Bharatey. Since a young age he was inculcated with Hindu virtues. He grew up
to be a pious, devoted and righteous son. Though born in abundance, his family
was soon found in the grasp of hardships and poverty when his father’s health
deteriorated. At the age of fifteen, Anil Bharatey decided to shoulder the
responsibility of family of nine and took up a job. Keeping the wolf from the door ,
he completed his graduation. What he was not aware of however was that this
was just the beginning of his troubles. From here his life spiraled down the slope
with only meagre breaks of hopes and happiness.
With his graduate degree he went ahead and grabbed a respectable position in a
nationalised bank of India. Like every human facing the harsh reality of life, he
soon turned to god and became an ardent devotee of lord Ganesha. He
performed daily oblations to the God, religiously. Unsatisfied with his current
career status, he made the most risky decision of leaving his job and stepping into
the field of entrepreneurship. He did not know then, with this decision he had set
his first step towards his doom. There were huge losses and undesirable
outcomes. Profits were rare. Even though he could build an empire, it was always
on th verge of annihilation. In his desperate attempt to remain above the roaring
waves of life, he took allegiance under his first Guru, the world renowned
Taranekar Maharaj. Being a cultured man and having a basic foundation of Vedas/
upanishads, Anil was aware of the importance of a Guru in one’s life. Without
doubt he fulfilled every command of his guru. Under the guidance of Taranekar
Maharaj he was acquainted with the Guru-shishya traditions.
The bhaktimarg(Devotional) culture here , stimulated the curious mind of Anil to
questions that were not getting answered. Questions like; Why do humans have
to face misery? Who distributes the adequate amount of miseries among humans?
Is it God? Then who is God? However, in 1992, his Guru Taranekar maharaj took
Samadhi. In the same year he was blessed with acquaintance of his Guru Khaptinath Maharaj.
Vision
SUGWAY envision’s to be the navigating star to all those stranded in the chaotic ocean of life and wish to seek the calming shores. The ethereal platform of SUGWAY was raised with the sole intent to accomadate all (of any caste or creed) who wish to bask in the warmth of eternal bliss.
With the apparatus of Gurusewa and sacred literature (Books by
Swamiji and Vedas), SUGWAY intends to achieve its vision of paving the way to eternal happiness for all. At SUGWAY one is encouraged to dive deep into the wisdom hidden in these ancient scriptures and apply this wisdom into
one’s daily life. Sugway aspires to inspire one to unravel the wisdom of
experiencing perpetual bliss in one’s daily life.
The SUGWAY TRUST got formulated only with the sole purpose to spread
goodness in society. This is a not for profit organization, that serves as a platform for Swamji Anilji Maharaj to execute His holy intent. The intent to bring the highest doctrine of the Ancient Eternal Knowledge of Indian Culture, called Atmagyan to the people, thereby bestowing a state of Bliss, Happiness and Tranquility at the highest level.

Gau Seva
The cow is said to be pure, nourishing and life-giving, hence the presence of gaushala on the ashram land makes it even more pure and hallowed. SUGWAY takes in and provides for the cows abandoned by poor farmers and cows saved by police.
We gladly accept any abandoned cow as a blessing. The fodder for the cows is procured from a farmer directly. No cow is exploited for any sort of commercial purpose. The excess milk(if any) is donated to an orphanage closest to the Ashram premises. The cows are provided with regular health check ups and vaccinations .
Any sick cow is given immaculate care and attention. Today our family of cows has extended up to a hundred. As a form of Guruseva , Goseva (service to cows) is considered the most auspicious at SUGWAY.
SUGWAY does accept donations for the welfare of these holy bovine mother.
