Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
Chapter 2
Anyamat Khandan (5)
(Rebuttal of duality)
“Twampad Tatpadiche laksh l Shabal sandoni paroksha l Nenije shuddha aparoksha l Tanvavari Moksha kaincha ll11ll”
Swamiji says that “Tatwamasi” and sacred subtle meaning embedded within, needs to be frequently seen, studied to make that as the indivisible part of buddhi. When the sacred meaning is seen repeatedly with the contemplation on the latent Gyan, with Sadguru benevolence our buddhi starts getting refined and the Sacred, Pure Gyan enters in buddhi. This is very important Vedant Mahavakya. Till all the three padas of this Mahavakya are not embedded in buddhi, the journey in Adhyatm is not possible. Gyan embedded within Tatwamasi and Atma – Anatma Vivek (Differentiation between, Eternal, Imperishable and temporary, perishable) are interdependent. Both must be understood very clearly. Once clarity on these eternal principles gets dawned upon us, then automatically the transformation begins. We start knowing about ‘who am I’, ‘who is Ishwar – God’, and, ‘This world’. The longings, desires keep on vanishing. We start becoming virtuous. With blessings from Sadguru our journey for Experiencing the Oneness begins. Such is the Greatness of this Mahavakya and Atma – Anatma Vivek.
Again it is said here by Mukundraj Maharaj, that
Ishwar is Tat Pad. And when Maya is removed by your thinking and understanding of your buddhi, contemplating on what remains after Maya gets removed, when all the visible things of the world are taken out and then what remains is, Nirgun, Nirakar Paramatma, from whom visible Maya was drawing the support, that Paramatma can be seen by contemplation.
This process is the Search of Tat Pad.
Likewise there is process for the search of Twam Pad. Twam means you, that is Jeeva. How to carry out this search we studied while going through previous Shloka. Also the process of gradually taking out five covers, starting from the visible You with body and organs; is explained in quite details; in, “Dev Kothe Ahe”. When all the five covers (Annamay, Pranmay, Manomay, Vidhnyanmay, Anandmaya) are taken out by thinking, then invisible Paramatma can be realised. Ishwar is Paramatma covered by Maya, (the whole universe) and Jeeva is Paramatma covered by Maya (buddhi).
Third pad Asi means ‘is’.
In present tense, the existence of everything is indicated by the verb “is”. That existence is told by Asi. And there is existence Paramatma alone. So Asi is also indicating Paramatma. Ishwar is Paramatma, Jeeva is Paramatma and Asi is also Paramatma.
