Paramguru Khaptinath Maharaj used to tell about this in different way. Paramguru would explain by revealing what Turia State is.
We are trying to study briefly about Omkar as seen in Yog. In Gyan path our undeterred fixation is in Eternal, Imperishable, Bramh – Paramatma. In this path symbols are not important. But we wished to understand briefly about the Unmani state. Paramguru Khaptinath Maharaj would normally be in Unmani state.
Khaptinath Maharaj’s method of imparting sacred knowledge was little different. He would ask why Gods take birth only at Either 12 AM or PM or 6AM or PM. Then he would tell morning and evening 6 and noon and night 12 are transition periods. The state in this transition is different than the three states of Antahkaran that we have seen.
Though we experience this fourth state daily, we do not notice that. The state lasts for very very small fraction of a second. In that state we are neither awake, nor in sleep, nor in dream state. This is Turia state. Maharaj used to tell that Ardhamatra which is separate than the three states of Antahkaran, is revelation of Turia state. Swamiji tells
Every one of us experiences this state. There is always transition from one state to another. Like wake up to sleep, sleep to dream. Sleep to awake. When the change of state takes place there is a transitional period. May be of few seconds or fraction of second. When we wake up from sleep, it takes some time to realise, where we are. In this period we are neither in sleep nor awake. This very small period is transitional period. Our senses are neither defunct nor fully functional. This is the Fourth state, Turia state.
In This fourth state (in which one is away from the three states), only, there is Realisation of Ishwar. This truth is revealed through births of Gods during this fourth state, Turia state. In this state we are enjoying oneness with Ishwar. That’s why the births of Gods are at 6, morning or evening and at 12 day or night. Thus Ardhamatra reveals Turia state, oneness with God.
Khaptinath Maharaj was The Yogi who is Shiv Himself. He used to be in Unmani state. Let us study briefly, prior to understanding Unmani state.
