Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Chapter 4
Sthul Dehanirasan (11)
(Discarding gross body)
“Tu deh ki dehacha jan l Deh tuj jane ki tuj yache Dhnyan l Pahata drashta tu apan l Deh tuj drushya ll12ll”
Mukundraj Maharaj is making us to think deeply, by asking a question, whether you are this body or this is your body? Does the body recognizes you or you recognize your body? Does the body know you or you know the body?
We say this is my hand, this is my leg. But we do not say the hand or leg is myself. That means I know my body and my body organs. Body does not know me. I am able to tell completely about my body and organs. Therefore Mukundraj Maharaj tells you are the one who is seeing your body. You are not body. This is your body and You are observer of the body.
Mukundraj Maharaj is telling you are entirely different than your body. This differentiation is revealed that you and your body are different. You know your body and organs. You see and know that your body and organs are functioning. You observe this being different from the body. You are observer of the body and its functioning.
When we go for a movie, we see a story on the screen. The story told by combinations of so many scenes. We sit on the chair and keep on observing as the story progresses through various scenes. Even when we are completely absorbed in the story being told on the screen, we do not become part of the story. We are only watching the movie separate from the actors in the movie. We know the details of story of the movie because the scenes showing the performance of the actors we have completely watched.
Mukundraj Maharaj is telling that, your body and it’s performance is same as the performance you watch like a movie. You are not at all involved in whatever is being done through body. You are only witness watching everything. You are entirely different than the body which you are seeing.
