Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj

Paramamrut

(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)

Chapter 4

Sthul Dehanirasan (15)
(Discarding gross body)

“Kam krodh shok jan l Lobh Bhay he pach guna l Te akashache lakshan l Dekhana tu ll20ll”

Procreative urge, anger, desolation – anguish, greed, fear these five qualities are because of Akash – Space that you Yourself know.

“Aise panchabhootanche ansh l Janasi panchavis l Te sarvahi tuj drushya l Sthul deh ha ll22ll”

All these five parts of each Mahabhoota, totalling to twenty five are known to you. You see and experience them. Your gross body which is visible to you is formed by twenty five elements mentioned above.

“Yache sahi vikar jan l Jayate asti vivardhan l Viparinmate vardhakya sanharan l Yasich ase ll23ll”

Now Mukundraj Maharaj is telling six changes – Vikar associated with this body. Birth or creation, sustenance, growth, peak, old age, destruction – death. These six states of the body are known to you.

“Yache varn-vyaktiroopasi l Janasi yachiya namasi l Mhanoni tuj atmayasi l He vijati kainchi ll24ll”

All these mentioned above associated with your body are very well known to you. You know this body formed with these perishable things. It is very simple to understand that these are entirely different from You – Atma.

“Tu Atma Nirakar l Janasi ya dehacha akar l Jari kashthi agni sachar l Tari vegala ki ll25ll”

You are Atma. You are not this perishable body. You’re not the body which you keep showing off like a piece of jewelry addressing it as I. You are Nameless, formless, quality less, Imperishable Atma.

You are conscience and Sat, Chit and Anand. You know the form of the body, you know the organs of the body, you know the parts and qualities of Panchamahabhoot from which the body is formed and you are aware of their functions.

Being Atmaroop how are you dwelling inside the body? Take an example of log of wood. When the wooden logs are rubbed against each other, the fire reveals itself. That means In the wooden log, fire is existing in invisible form. That fire existing in wooden log is different than the visible log. Similarly Atma being in the body is different than the body and is not visible to the senses. Our Atma is original self which is hidden. The body is temporary, prone to changes, perishable, that is not real I. Bodies will keep on changing, but I am same, Imperishable, Immortal, Nameless, Formless, Atma. As the fire is different than the wooden log, which is invisibly existing in the log, Atma is different than the body.
