In your visible body Jeevatma is there invisible, subtle. Jeevatma is not doing anything but everything gets done because of him. The life force, consciousness, appearing in the body is because of Jeevatma

Shravan sparshan darshan l Aswadan gandhagrahan l Ya Dhnyanendriyekarun l Pachahi vishay ll5ll

Here all the five sense organs are told. Hearing is through Ears. Touch is sensed through skin. Sight is seen through eyes. Taste is sensed through tongue. Fragrance is sensed through nose. the five subjects of the five sense organs are told in next verse.

Shabda sparsh roop rasa gandha l Vachanadan gamananand l Malavisarga he panchavidh l Karmendriya Janata tu ll 6ll

These five subjects are word, touch, form, taste, odor. Word is subject of Speech. Word is spoken by someone and is heard by the other. There is space – Akash, in between them. Akash is the mahabhoot and it’s tanmatra – subject is word. Sparsh – Touch is the subject of Mahabhoot Vayu and the organ is skin. Maharaj is telling that the body is formed by Panchamahabhootas and further telling which Mahabhoota causing what sensation.
Roop – Form is the subject of Agni – Fire and the organ is eye.
