Chapter 5
Ling Dehanirasan (15)
(Discarding invisible body)
“Natari udakacha tarang l Tethe dusara nahi Bhag l To viraliya Chang l Udaka udaki ll16ll
Pari jalavachoni kahi l Anik vijatiya nahi l Taise mana maghare atmayache thayi l Tav te nahich hoy ll17ll”
The example given in Vedant tells, “When wood is ignited and is burning, we see the flames of various colors emanating from wood. So many fierce looking sparks comes out. More fuel we add more fierce burning takes place. When we stop adding fuel, the fire settles down. After some time there is only, brightly shining peace ful fire.
Fire gets settled without sparks and flames, and now only quiet heat emission and serene glow is there.
Similarly when we stop fulfilling the desires of mind, then mind gradually settles down and becomes peaceful. Once it is understood that there is nothing outside; nothing to see, nothing to taste, nothing exists in reality; which is getting sensed by the sense organs, then mind becomes peaceful.
In such peaceful condition mind gets back and dissolves. Mind emerge from Jeevatma looking for outside happiness. When there is Realisation that there is nothing outside, mind becomes peaceful and dissolves in Jeevatma.
Ripples originate from the water due to the wind and then merge into water. Like this mind emerges from Atma due to the desire for happiness from outside world and again merges into Atma after becoming peaceful with the Realisation that outside is only an illusion.
