Chapter 5

Ling Dehanirasan (24)
(Discarding invisible body)

“Je je bhase janiviye l Te te jari nirasuni jaye l Tari janivachi Ahe l Techi pahe tiyete ll31ll”

Once you realise that The scene that you see, your body and all other objects, are not real, they are merely scenes like in a movie, then with understanding of this reality, illusion of body and other external objects will get discarded.

Whatever you see and experience, what this world is filled with so many material things, persons and other beings really do not exist. They are there, only in my thinking. In reality nothing external is there.

“Te janiv atmayachi prabha l To swayambhu tiyete ubha l Deep apaliya shobha l Apan Jaisa ll32ll”

You see a lamp. Whether any other lamp is needed to see the lamp. No! No other lamp is needed to see that lamp. Lamp is visible in its light. So this world that you see is your own light. Your notion that the world is visible in the light of Sun is not correct. Table lamps or LCD bulbs are making the world visible is absolutely wrong. This is your own light. In your light only the world is shining. Your light only is enabling your mind to function, enabling your buddhi to function, enabling your chitta to function, enabling your Antahkaran to function. All the movements of your body are due to your own light. Your Original Self is your Atmaroop. Your Original Self is Paramatma. Whatever truth you think is there in the external world is due to your light. How do you see a golden ring is lying on the floor? There are two things. One the light is needed. The other; the knowledge is needed to understand that it is Golden ring. In the light of Your own knowledge you are seeing everything. Sun is shining and the planets are rotating and revolving due to the light of your Atma. Your Atma is the Atma of the world. Atma is not individual. Paramguru Khaptinath Maharaj used to tell that, Atma is Paramatma. This teaching was the turning point for Sadguru to dive deep into this knowledge. This all is Your own light, light of your Atma, Light of Paramatma. Light means Dhnyan. Your Original Self is Dhnyan alone. Like lamp sees itself in its own light, there is no need for any other light or mirror or knowledge from any book to see Your Original Self. Your Original Self is self luminous. In Your light only the whole world is visible.

“Drushya Mrugjala abhasan l Te karuniya nirasan l Tu pahe ba Kavan l Apan aise ll33ll”

Mirage is seen in the desert. The illusion of water flow is seen. Though the water is seen through eyes, you discard that with rational thinking. You know that there is no water around in this desert. So whatever seen is the weakness of my eyes. Thinking like that you discard the illusion of water actually seen by the eyes. In the same way when you will consider this nature visible to you as an illusion and discard it by rational thinking, then you will realise who you are! You will understand that you are no different than Paramatma. Whatever is there, all that is myself and there is nothing else. Like Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, I am finer than fine atom and at the same time I am as huge and magnificent like Sky, all pervading space. Tukaram Maharaj has gone beyond the limits of body. This was possible when he discarded the things visible through senses. He Realised the falsehood of the world. Same way we have to rationalise and earnestly seek Atmadhnyan, Original Self.
