Chapter 8

Shunya Khandan (3)
(Refutation of Nihilism)

“Jari te shunya bhavije l Tari kalpuni nav thevije l Je apana apan buze l Te shunya kaise ll1ll”

Cont’d..

Let us again take example of Rainbow. We see rainbow. After some time it disappears. I am the one who is looking at rainbow. I am the one who knows that rainbow is an illusion, it is zero. But imagine that if the rainbow had intellect – buddhi, would it have said that, ‘I am zero’. No. The one who knows the nature is there in this nature. So the entire nature can not be zero.
.. 2

“Jo sarva shunyate jane l Taya shunya aise kavan mhane l Je kahi nahi tene l Apana kevi Janije ll2ll”

The part of that Nature, man; knows that nature is zero. one who Realised own Self, Atmadhnyani knows that the nature is zero. He knows what is zero and he is part of the nature, then how the whole nature can be zero. If we say the nature is zero then that man who has understood what is zero also will be considered as Zero which is not possible. If everything would have been zero then who would be there to understand it. Zero can not recognize itself. One who recognizes zero can not be zero. How can anyone think or recognize himself as Zero.

“Yaya Swaroopi nure drushya l Drushyasi drushtatva adrushya l Jayache tayasich prakash l Swaroop sada ll3ll”

We have studied earlier that when all the three states and all the three bodies disappear after rational discarding then Original Self only remains. The scenes in dream and wake up state vanish and Self gets Realised. That Self only is watching, observing, witnessing the scene in dream and wake up state but that Self is invisible. We have studied that gross body can not see the nature, subtle body cannot see the nature, causative body can not see the nature. Whatever these three bodies can see or sense is due to the support from Mahakaran or Swaroop – Self. After discarding three bodies, Swaroop is Realised. Whatever Swaroop sees as the scene is seen in His own light. Swaroop only lights Dhnyan of all the things in the Nature. Swaroop only keeps on seeing everything in His own Dhnyan light.
