Abhyasyog (4)
(Practice for imbibing Eternal Principle)

“Sthul indriyanmadhun l Yuktine ekavati mana l Antarakashi neun l Sthir kari ll6ll”

In This chapter Mukundraj Maharaj is telling about how to do meditation, Yog. The mind is in all the organs. Take out the mind from all these organs and concentrate it. Take out the mind from the organs through reasoning. Mind is occupied in senses and Antahkaran. Mind is involved in numerous thoughts. It is involved in the subjects of organs. For example, the subject of eyes is seeing scene, subject of tongue is tasting some recipe, ears wish to hear something, skin desires for a touch. Mind has to be taken out of these organs.

The ways for taking out the mind are told in Yog Scriptures. For example put your attention on breathing. Only keep on watching how inhaling and exhaling are getting done. Then mind will come out of the organs and will concentrate on breathing. The other method is concentrate on chakras. Muladhar Chakra, is down below, swadhishtan is near belly button, Manipur is over stomach, Anahat Chakra in heart, Vishuddha Chakra in throat, Adhnya Chakra is at the mid point of the eyebrows.

Mind can be concentrated at Any of these places. This also is one method to take out mind from the organs.

Using any of these methods take out the mind from the organs and concentrate on Inner space, inner Akash. We have seen inner Akash in the previous Shloka. Fix your mind between the eyebrows and concentrate on the vast space, Akash at Agyachakra.
