Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Chapter 9
Abhyasyog (7)
(Practice for imbibing Eternal Principle)
“Mhanoni paratave abhyantari l Abhyas karava aishiyapari l Maga kalpana abhyantari l Samarasoni jay ll13ll”
Swamiji says from the last five six Shlokas Mukundraj Maharaj is emphasizing on discarding, destroying the gross, worldly thoughts. This Shloka also is similar. To know our Self, to realise our Self, to understand our Brahm Swaroop, discard all the outer worldly thoughts and concentrate on Inner Akash. Use some methods told earlier for stopping all the outwardly thoughts, like, paying attention to our breathing, concentrating on our Sadguru at our Agyachakra, fixing our mind there, or concentrating on any of the six Chakras.
Practice this on continual basis. Stopping all the outwardly thoughts may not happen in a day. It may take some period to make your mind calm and peaceful, devoid of any external thoughts. That is why regular study is necessary to bring back the outwardly flowing mind and concentrate it at Agyachakra. With such regular practice our mind will gradually calm down and will become steady and will be fixed in inner space, Akash. It is essential for meditating at inner space; to check the outward tendency of mind with regular study and practice.
With this the mind will get Unified into the inner Akash.
“Soduni Sthul gati l Aishi rahe antarsthiti l Tovari abhyas niguti karavachi lage ll14ll”
Sthul means visible to the eyes and senses. Like all things formed by panchamahabhoot are gross visible things having names and forms. When you are meditating; leave aside the external things with names and forms formed with Panchamahabhoot and fix mind inside at inner Akash. Regular disciplined practice is necessary to achieve this state.
