Rarely any Saint has told to the people about getting learnings of Atmadhnyan.
Even while telling about Yog all the eight steps of Yog are not told to the people. Yam, Niyam, Asan, Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dhnyan, Dharana, Samadhi are the eight steps. Most of the Yog Gurus do not tell about the essential first two steps. Yam means following, Ahinsa, satya, Asteya, Bramhcharya and Aperigraha. These tell that do not forcibly take anything of others, do not indulge in attraction with other gender, and refrain from making any collection even for grains etc.
This is almost impossible to follow while carrying out family and worldly activities. Almost all the Yog Gurus do not make their disciples to follow these rules. Niyam are Shuchirbhutata, santosh, swadhyay, Tapas, Ishwar pranidhan. These regulations are also not told normally told to the people. Before you carry out physical activities of the body and before carrying out meditation, you have to qualify yourself by following first two steps. This is normally not revealed.
This area has become almost a commercial place. Real yog Guru before starting the physical activities of yog, will ensure cleansing may be for about three years. Yam Niyam are not told because those may hamper the popularity of Yog. People are looking for sharing something. Prayers, japa, Yog exercises etc. Hardly anyone wish to know Paramatma. Some people ask if we follow you in how much time we will get experiences. There is no guarantee for these as it depends mainly on acceptance, surrender and intensive study.
