Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Atmadhnyan Shighra Sadhana… 1
(English Translation of the series in Hindi by Brahmatmaikdhnyani Sant Swami Anilji)
Advocate Arjun Singh Thakur Queried
“Which Sadhana needs to be done to become Dhnyani (to attain knowledge of Parmatma)?”
Let me introduce Shri Gopalji Mor and Advocate, Arjun Singh, to my fb friends. Both of them are Gurubandhu (Our Guru is same). So today, I am taking liberty to write about self.
Our Guru’s Ashram is at Bagapur, in Chandur Tahasil, Amravati District, Maharashtra State.
Our Guru Sant Khapti Maharaj was a Siddha, Yogi having Shivsamarasya (Oneness with Lord Shiva), Param Dhnyani, Trikaldhnyani Sant.
Our Guru Maharaj was traditional #Siddha Purush. To all of us, his disciples, he gave guidance on path of knowledge (Dhnyan Marg).
When we approached our Guru we did not know anything other than devotion to God and service to Guru. Our Guru never told us to do God Worship, devotion, name chanting, or any kind of ritual nor he allowed to do any of these. In spite of he himself being a Great Yogi, he neither taught us any asan, pranayam, yogakriya nor he let us do anything of these. Our Guru took us to Dhnyan path alone. He never taught us knowledge openly. Our Guru without teaching us anything directly, taught us everything.
He will put very important seeds of knowledge just in casual conversation that the listener will hardly understand that it was meant for us as lesson on knowledge or to fuel our quest in that direction. Many of the disciples would not pay attention thinking these are not meant for them.
Most of the people would put forward their Problems, difficulties, sorrows being faced by them in their worldly lives. However our Guru Maharaj would not tell anything other than Atmadhnyan (knowledge of Self) to the disciples. Even then for the sake of Showing attention or pretending to listen to them he will speak some thing or other or act in a peculiar manner.
Following are some examples of What Guruji used to tell as seeds for thought in Hindi and Marathi.
Drushti aad shrushti
(The real nature is beyond sight),
Adrushya pasara (Invisible world),
Atma so Parmatma,
(Atma is the Parmatma),
Sanshaya ka sar sansar
(Doubt, creator of Sansar, world),
Charma drushti aur Dhnyan drushti bhinna hai (understanding by senses and understanding through knowledge is different),
Ek laksh se ek laksh chourashi hazar yoni
(with proper attention rebirth cycle to one lakh eighty four thousand species can be avoided), Uper kuchha nahi tumhara bheja hai (There is nobody (God) above except your brain (thinking),
Bhagwan ke nam kisane rakhkhe? (who gave names to God),
Ekdanti hathi hi hai (Adwait),
Arjun ko adhnyan se jagaya (Awakened Arjun from worldly understanding) etc. etc.
By listening to the seed thoughts We used to get inspired to seek their hidden secrets and we would take up our studies of Shastras accordingly. Maharaj has composed some poems in Hindi and Marathi which prominently depicted importance of Knowledge (Dhnyan).
For example some stanzas are as follows
Poems composed by Sant Khapti Maharaj along with the meaning.
- Cham cham chamke Dhnyanachi talwar.
“With the shining sword of Atmadhnyan, destroy adhnyan of worldly things.”
(Shrimadbhagavatgita 15) - Atmadhnyan antari shodha ” Atmadhnyan is not somewhere outside, it is within you.”
- Papadi saph khodi, milvoni divya Dhnyana
” Destroy all sins by acquiring Atmadhnyan.” - Mi, to; aisha bhedmatashi dhnyankare udavave
“Destroy the duality of I am different and Parmatma is different by Atmadhnyan.” - Bharuni urala, uruni bharala ved shastrat varnuni gela
“#Parmatma remains even after occupying every thing and still is fully in everything.” - Vani man dhavatana zani lage Atmata
“When mind stops running after outside the body then starts the understanding of Atmadhnyan.” - Atmrupacha praksh dharun kalikala vindhiyale
“By being with Atmadhnyan I destroyed death.” - Mi basalo shodhanya Atmadhnyan sharirat Madhava
” Oh lord Krishna I started searching Atmadhnyan in the body (intellect, buddhi) itself.”
Hundreds of poems depicting knowledge, Dhnyan are composed by Sant Khapti Maharaj. His book, “Gupta Sanjivani” is written on the philosophy of Ajatwad, Knowledge of Upanishads.
Devotees of Sant Khapti Maharaj can aquire Atmadhnyan by studying the Literature of Maharaj as service to Guru. His blessings are always there.
