Till buddhi gets sharpened the principles of Vedant appears complex and difficult to grasp. With regular practice of Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan the complexity reduces and buddhi is able to grasp the truth embedded in Vedant Principles.
“Karuni Adishakticha angikaru l Jo kari utpatti, स्थिति, samharu l Sarvasakshi sarveshwaru l To shabal bolije ll1ll”
Plain meaning is Who adopts Adishakti, with the help of Adishakti, carries out creation, sustenance, destruction of the Universe; however is not involved in any of these activities and is only witness; is God of Gods and is Shabal Brahm.
Who adopts Adishakti – Maya? Paramatma does that. Nameless Formless, Parmatma is with Adishakti. Adishakti means maya. Adishakti is symbolised in the form of Goddess, Goddess with eight arms. Goddess only is the nature with eight limbs. Which are these eight limbs? Five limbs are Five sense organs which gives the complete experience of the world, all the things present in the world, persons there in.
With them we carry out the routines in the world. These are eyes, ears, tongue, nose, skin. These provide the knowledge of the world through visual, audible, taste, smell and touch. These five senses and mind, buddhi (intellect), and ego forms the eight limbs. We think with mind, decide with buddhi, and understand our existence through ego. With these eight limbs the nature – prakruti gets formed. In devotional path, this Prakruti is worshiped as Goddess. She only is known as Adishakti.
