Chapter 10

Drushyabhas Khandan (10)
(Discarding illusion)

Athav chitti jo rahe l Te Dhnyan navhe tari kaye l Dhnyanevin sthiratva ahe l Buddhis kothe ll25ll”

Whatever memories are there which rise in mind are those not Dhnyan? What are those? When Dhnyan is being said in these verses, the intent of mukundraj Maharaj needs to be carefully understood. Some times Maharaj is addressing worldly Dhnyan as Dhnyan and some times Atmadhnyan as Dhnyan.
Maharaj is asking here, without Atmadhnyan how can there be stability to buddhi?

Two things are being said in this verse. One is Dhnyan in memories and worldly Dhnyan also is Dhnyan. Second and important thing is told that Stability of buddhi can only be with Atmadhnyan or Brahm Dhnyan.
Maharaj says There is no adhnyan as such. Whatever Dhnyan is, all that is related to Atma alone.

“Te Dhnyan jari Adhishtan l Tari Sankalpavikalpatmak mana l Techi Dhnyan paripurna l Yalagi sfuran asena ll26ll”

The Seat, Throne of Dhnyan is Dhnyan only. Adhyatmik Dhnyan or worldly Dhnyan, the base, support for that is Dhnyan. With worldly Dhnyan, mind is simply busy in formation of intents and deterrence and gets constantly occupied in thinking about those. That is the characteristics of mind. However if Dhnyan is complete in itself; when there is Atmik Dhnyan then all such activities of mind disappear making mind fully calm and peaceful.
In short in this verse it is told that there are two kinds of Dhnyan.
One is Atmik Dhnyan and other is worldly Dhnyan. Seat of Dhnyan is Atmik Dhnyan alone. All kinds of Dhnyan have risen only from Atmik Dhnyan.
If our Dhnyan is limited to worldly Dhnyan then mind keeps on wandering into continual thinking on intents and deterrence.
When Dhnyan is Atmik then mind becomes peaceful without any kind of thinking.
