Chapter 10
Drushyabhas Khandan (12)
(Discarding illusion)
“Kahi vruttibhas bhase l To sfuratachi taya dise l Pari swataha apan ase l Nirabhas ll28ll”
We (means our Swaroop) are not merely an appearance or reflection. We are real. Swaroop which is dwelling inside the body is real. Swaroop, Devoid of gross body devoid of Antahkaran, is neither illusion, nor reflection. That Swaroop is Real, Absolutely Pure. If some tendencies rise due to desire then those tendencies take shape as per desire. When The subject of our desire is seen, then our tendencies take the shape of the subject as per our desire and forms an illusion. This illusion is formed so quickly and it appears so real that we get carried away. For example when some thought appears in mind, “I need to go to the lab, to do this particular experiment in the test tube.”
All my tendencies will form the test tubes in the lab. The illusion of test tubes will get formed. This gets formed in such a way and in infinitesimally small time, putting such a realistic picture that you are compelled to believe that everything of it being true. There is no question of arising any doubt on its real existence.
Once the Pulsation of tendencies take place, then after that, how the object of desire gets formed, has been very beautifully depicted in ‘Vrutti Prabhakar Rahasya’ by Shriman Joshi. This process is explained in details in this Scripture. Whoever wishes to go into details can refer this scripture.
It is told in this verse that, ‘I am real, I am not an imagination or illusion. I am Atma. I am not the gross body with flesh and bones. I am not the sukshma body of Antahkaran, mind intellect, senses, etc. I am not reflection or illusion. But I am the seer of the reflection or illusion.
