There is no difference in Paramatma and Anand (Supreme Absolute Joy) There is Shruti (Sacred sentence in Upanishad), “Anando Brahmeti”. That Supreme Absolute Joy is Brahm. Paramatma and Anand, Bramh and Anand are not Separate, they are not different. We know that Atma alone is there. There is no other existence. If Anand would have been different than Atma then there would be no existence of Anand. However Brahmanand is always there. Like Sat, Brahmanand is not perishable, can not be destroyed. Brahmanand is Indestructible, Eternal. Therefore Atma is Anand. Brahm is Anand. This truth is depicted by, “Anando Brahmeti”.
Paramatma Himself is Anand. So now we have studied and understood the sacred meaning subtly embedded in, “Sachchidanand”.
Let’s study, “Karya Karan Bhav” told in the Shloka. Straight translation in English is, “Work or Action and its Cause.
Paramatma is Cause and the nature, Universe is the work, deed. Universe is the work by Paramatma. For example earthenware are formed from soil or clay. Here earthenware is the work and clay is the cause. Similarly Paramatma is Cause and Universe is Work. In all types of Golden jewelry, Jewelry is the work and Gold is the Cause. Mukundraj Maharaj is saying we must reach out to the sacred subtle meaning of Cause and Work, Sachchidanand. Till these are grasped by our buddhi (intellect) and till we experience Atmadhnyan (Self Realisation), how Moksha (Emancipation) can be bestowed up on us?
