Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Chapter 2
Anyamat Khandan (23)
(Rebuttal of duality)
“Sadgurumukhe vedantshravan l N ghade tayache manan l Jav n pavije Nididhyasan l Tanvavari Moksha kaincha ll15ll”
Till we listen to Vedant Principles from Sadguru, comprehend the embedded meaning, contemplate on that and then firmly affix that into buddhi (Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan), there is no point in thinking about Emancipation. The path Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan is the path adopted at Sugway from day one. This only is the path according to Ved and Shruti to reach out to Paramatma, to have Self Realisation, Atmadhnyan. In the most ancient Upanishad, Brihadaranyak Upanishad, Maharshi Yadhnyavalkya in his discourse to his wife Maitreyee says, “O Maitreyee, In this Universe Atma only needs to be Seen, listened (listen to, only about Atma) contemplate on Atma, and then Nididhyasan should be done.”
After Shravan and Manan, after listening to Atma Principles, when through contemplation the embedded meaning gets revealed, then fix your buddhi permanently on that by continuously thinking on them, and the sayings of Sadguru.
Mukundraj Maharaj says here, you listen to Vedant from your Sadguru. What is meant by Vedant? In Ved, there are three parts; Karma (Rituals), upasana (Penance) and Dhnyan. The last part of Ved in which Dhnyan is depicted; is called, Vedant, Upanishad or Shruti. The most important part of Shravan of Vedant is listening only from Sadguru. Listening from anyone else will not have desired effect for progressing on path of Emancipation.
