(Rebuttal of duality)
“Javavari tripadshodh n ghade l Ardhamatraparate n sapade l Ksharakshar nivada n ghade l Uttam purushi samaras ll13ll”
Tripad shodh is the exploration in the realm of Adhyatm – Spirituality. This leads to revelations of Atma – Anatma Vivek, what is Eternal, what is temporary, comprehending Omnipresent Atma and much more. Swamiji says that therefore we must always study and contemplate on this Mahavakya, till it gets fully grasped and we actually experience these three Padas of this Mahavakya. The path of our study of the Eternal Truth in Sugway is Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan. We must continually dwell in the Mahavakya making a resolve that I will imbibe the truth with blessings of Sadguru and actually realise, experience the Mahavakya. In this birth itself, I must experience Paramatma. Because if this opportunity is missed, then it is not known when again this can be possible. If it is missed then I will again be thrown into the wicked cycle of birth and death.
Tat, Twam and Asi each of the Pad is having two types of meaning.
There is sagun meaning of Tat and also Nirgun meaning. Sagun means Paramatma along with sobriquet, visible in the form of world.
After searching out for Paramatma beyond our senses, carrying out the sacred search, contemplating with buddhi evolved with blessings from Sadguru, then buddhi starts encompassing Nirakar (Beyond any form, formless), Nirgun (beyond Gunas) Paramatma.
When we see smoke, (though visible smoke is not fire), it is definitely known that fire exists without fire being actually visible.
Whatever visible world we see is not Paramatma. But we have to reach out to Paramatma who is invisibly present everywhere.
The next Pad is Twam. Twam means You (disciple). Jeeva. when one undertakes inner search after taking out the covers; then we see only Atma.
Tat is mainly Atma, Twam is mainly Atma.
Asi, one form is existence. And main is Atma.
So visible form of Tat, Twam and Asi are appearing differently but original, true, form of all these three Padas Tat, Twam and Asi is Atma alone.
One should be able to differentiate between what is apparent and what is there in reality. Like we should be able to separate water and salt. Milk and water gets mixed together and becomes inseparable. But Swan does have that discretion of separating milk and water, with that discretion Paramatma has to be seen separately from Visible things.
This separation can only be done by Dhnyani and the group like ours studying Vedant. We must be able to separate invisible, unmanifested Atma from the visible sight. This is Atma Anatma Vivek, which must be understood by us. Till this Vivek is grasped by our buddhi, it will not be possible to have oneness with Paramatma.
