Mukundraj Maharaj is saying here that Paramatma is different than these three states of Awakening, Dream and Sleep. Paramatma is beyond these states.
Paramatma is also different than three types of bodies. Which are these three bodies? One is the body made up of seven elements. Gross body which is visible. Through which we appear to work in the world.
Second body is very minute. Subtle. That finer body comprises of mind, buddhi (intellect) chitta (focusing mind) Ahankar (ego that I exist as body). These are called Antahkaran with four petals – Antahkaran chatushtaya. This is our minute body.
Everyone has gross body and Finer body.
Third body is Karan body. This is Jeevatma. With Jeevatma , our finer invisible body that is Antahkaran starts functioning, our gross body starts functioning. Jeevatma is the witness of three states Awake, Dream and Sleep; experienced by body and mind.
Through Gross body we see and do our chores in the world. Finer body is invisible, but we are aware and use our mind, focus our mind, use buddhi in decision making, and all the time we think of our bodily existence.
We are not aware of our third body, Karan body. But all the bodily, and mind functions are carried out because of this Karan body. The cycle of birth and death is also because of this Karan body, Jeevatma.
