PARAMAMRUT ADHYAY 3 MAHAVAKYAVIVARAN (19)

Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj

Paramamrut

(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)

Chapter 3

Mahavakyavivaran (19)
(Sacred sentence in Vedas)

“Vishwa Taijas Pradhnya l Pratyagatma sarvadhnya l He abhimani sandhnya l Shabal twampadarthi ll11ll”

Vishva means Awake state, in which we get the knowledge of the world. In this state Jeevatma is in Vishva state.
Taijas is dream state. In this state, Jeevatma based on the experiences in the wake up state, with those memories creates entirely different world. In dream Jeevatma is in Taijas state.
Pradhnya means Prayaha Adhnya. Which is depicting the completely ignorant state. We don’t understand anything in this state. This is Sushupti or Sleep state.
Mukundraj Maharaj is saying that Pratyagatma means the reflection of Atma in individual Jeeva; being the reflection of Omniscient Paramatma, Pratyagatma is also Omniscient.
Mukundraj Maharaj says that these Vishva, Taijas and Pradhnya are the Deities of the respective states and these are with names and forms. These are impure forms told earlier as Twam.

“Ya itukiyancha drashta l To Dhnyanghan taya pragata l Shuddha bolije pratishtha l jeevatva nirase ll12ll”

The uninvolved observer of all the things depicted just before, is Paramatma, Who is indivisible, Homogeneous Dhnyan. Shruti says, “Pradhnyanam Brahm”. That means Brahm or Paramatma is Dhnyan, limitless, Homogeneous Dhnyan. Once Jeevatma is understood and Jeeva is discarded then remaining Absolutely Pure Dhnyan is the Paramatma.

“Shabal to vachyapaksha l Shuddha bolije laksha l Lakshi aikya janitalya Moksha – siddhichi l Labhe ll13ll”

One is literal meaning of the word. The other is what is the intent of saying that word. Intended meaning is way different than the apparent literal meaning. For example if someone tells how to reach to the house of one Mr. Deshmukh. He is told just look for a mango tree, Mr. Deshmukh’s house is just there. Then he starts looking for mango tree. But mango tree is not his destination. That is literal meaning of the word. Through that he has to reach to intended meaning, embedded Dhnyan. Absolutely Pure Dhnyan is Paramatma. We have to reach to the Dhnyan embedded within. When this is grasped with the Blessings of Sadguru, you are certain to attain Emancipation.
