Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Chapter 3
Mahavakyavivaran (22)
(Sacred sentence in Vedas)
Swamiji says that all Vedant Dhnyan Scriptures explain Oneness of Jeevatma, Ishwar and Paramatma through this Example of Ghatakash, Mathakash and Mahadakash. Very important aspect needs to be understood thoroughly and grasped into buddhi. This may appear to be difficult to digest. But keep one thing in mind that if our preparation is to the mark then this Dhnyan is not difficult to grasp.
“Maya – avidya nashi l Aikya hoya jeeveshwarasi l Aise buzonia manasi l Sukhiya hoije ll18ll”
When does the unification between Jeeva and Ishwar emerge? This Realisation dawns upon when Maya or Avidya gets destroyed. Maya or Avidya means whatever visible nature, Universe is seen and experienced through sense organs. What exactly is meant by the destruction of Maya? This destruction is not like the destruction of a paper by burning it. This destruction means the Realisation of its falsehood. We see many things, persons, scenes in the dream. If we come to know that I am watching dream, all these things are virtual, not true then dream will not remain dream. Similarly when we realize that whatever we see hear etc is nothing but illusion; then all our dealings in the world get done with the understanding that this really does not exist. Automatically the motive gets removed from everything we do in this world. An Example has been given in the book, “Dev Kothe Ahe “. A young man was looking from a distance in a dress shop. He saw a beautiful girl. He advanced in that direction. When he reached near, he realized that she is not a girl but only a female statue. Once he becomes aware of the illusion, his interest in befriending her dies out. Similarly when Dhnyan emerge the falsehood of the world is Realised and all our interest or motives die down.
We come to know that there is nothing tangible and lasting here. The earlier urge for striving for accomplishment of worldly benefits die down.
This way when Maya – Avidya that is nescience gets destroyed, then oneness between Jeeva, Ishwar and Paramatma is revealed.
It is Realised that I am not a person bound within perishable body. I am entirely different, encompassing everything, Homogeneous, Infinite, Indestructible.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj said, same as said in Shruti “Anurenium mahato mahiyan”, “Anureniya tokada, Tuka akashaevadha”. Our Dhnyani Sant speaks Vedant alone.
Once Dhnyan emerges with Sadguru’s Blessings, then it is Realised that limited life, limited buddhi all these belong to this perishable body and not to me. I and Paramatma are one. I am indivisible, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Infinite, Eternal. Whatever all is seen is I am alone. Then where is the question of any suffering. The notion ‘I am different than others’ is the root cause of fear and anxiety. Once I know I am only everywhere, then I am eternally delighted. I am beyond birth and death. Then I am bestowed with extreme eternal joy.
