Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Chapter 4
Sthul Dehanirasan (17)
(Discarding gross body)
Every being has a visible body with organ part and invisible Atmaroop part. Same thing is told in Shrimadbhagavatgita by Bhagwan Shrikrishna.
In thirteenth Chapter Bhagwan tells Arjun that the body is addressed as Kshetra – Field. One who knows this Kshetra, body fully; is Kshetradhnya
Swamiji says, the body in itself is inanimate, lifeless. It is unable to know or understand anything. Bhagwan says Tatvadarshi (who have experienced Tatva, on whom Atmadhnyan is bestowed upon by Sadguru) tell that part within the body, who is the knower of the body, Kshetra is addressed as Kshetradhnya (one who is knower). Body is Kshetra and the knower is invisible Kshetradhnya, residing within the body. There are two parts of each of us. Kshetra and Kshetradhnya.
Bhagwan further says that Kshetradhnya means Jeevatma residing in all Kshetras, bodies, is myself only. Bhagwan says that the body is ignorant, lifeless material thing. The knower of the body is Jeevatma, that is myself (Bhagwan Himself). Bhagwan says your Jeevatma is me only. I am residing in your body and carry out all the chores and worldly dealings. Bhagwan says Dhnyan means knowing Prakruti and Purush. Prakruti means body and Purush means Jeevatma residing inside the body. The body means Kshetra means Prakruti. Jeevatma means Kshetradhnya means Purush. We have these two parts. These two parts are being told for study and understanding. As Mukundraj Maharaj has advised earlier that first understand duality. Understand these two parts of you. Then eventually you will reach out to Adwait, Nondual Self.
