“Te nenivachi ahe janiv l Pari dharila viparit bhav l Aap apana nathav l Adhnyanvashe ll15ll”
Coming back to the Fifteenth verse, Swamiji tells :
Mukundraj Maharaj says, Original state is of sleep. When waking up from the sleep some times we see the world and some times we see the dream world. The observer, onlooker is the same, one who wakes up and see the world and the one who watches the dream. Only thing is there is continuity in wake up state which is not there in dream state with time being comparatively quite short. Today’s dream does not get continued tomorrow, but today’s world continue to be seen tomorrow, in wake up state. The emergence of both the states, wake up and dream, is from Adhnyan that is sleep.
Neniv chi ahe Janiv, means we do not know anything during sleep state, that itself is the knowledge. When I get up I realise that I have enjoyed deep sleep. My original Self was awake and experienced the Joy during the sleep state. However the sleep being full of Tamogun, I do not come to know. That is why it is said that the sleep itself is knowledge, this ignorance, nescience itself is the knowledge.
I am only enjoying the joy of sleep. I am only the one who watches dream. I am also the one who sees the world on wake up state and is doing my work here. Let us see the difference in Sleep and Samadhi. In Samadhi I am continuously aware that I am there. While in sleep state there is no awareness that I am there. Full body and Antahkaran, mana buddhi, chitta and ego all become defunct. That is why sleep is Tamoguni and full of nescience. I am the one who knows all these three states of sleep, dream and wake up. I forget that I know all these three states. And then I take for granted the world which is seen due to nescience is real. In dream state I think those incidents and the world is true and in wake up state the world I see, I consider it to be real. But my original state is sleep.
