Karan Dehanirasan (2)
(Discarding seed Maya)
“Aap apana Janata nike l Tethe neniv ad thake l Tari iyeche parakhepana l Kavan sange ll3ll”
When we are seeking our Self, seeking Atmadhnyan, the wall of nescience comes in between. We listen to Dhnyan discourse, we read Upanishad, Shrimadbhagavatgita, listen to the speech by Sadguru. But while doing all these why do we not reach quickly to our Self? What inhibits or prohibits us in reaching to our own Self. Adhnyan, nescience, our ignorance comes in between.
When we say adhnyan is an obstacle to the Realisation of our own Self, can we tell what is this adhnyan which is creating the obstacle? No one will be able to tell what this adhnyan is. Whether the Light will be able to tell, I have seen darkness? Never! Let us take for a while that light means Dhnyan and darkness means adhnyan. Light can never tell that I have seen darkness. If light goes in search of darkness, darkness will not remain. Wherever light goes darkness will get destroyed and light alone will remain. Similarly if an attempt is made to tell which adhnyan is prohibiting for reaching out to Dhnyan then adhnyan itself will transform into Dhnyan. Adhnyan will get destroyed.
Considering myself to be body is adhnyan. If I come to know that, my notion of considering body as I is adhnyan, then that itself is Dhnyan. Adhnyan vanishes. Author is conveying here that adhnyan is nonexistent. if Dhnyan goes in search of adhnyan, adhnyan will vanish. There is no substance that we can say as adhnyan.
