Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Paramamrut
(English Translation of the Audio series in Marathi by Brahmatmaikyadhnyani Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Mandate of Kenopnishad (10)
We have already seen that whatever we hear is not Paramatma, whatever we see is not Paramatma, whatever we smell is not Paramatma whatever we touch is not Paramatma. Whatever is seen and experienced by all the five sense organs is not Paramatma. Whatever is the creation is not Paramatma. The ritualistic devotional activities are not recognized by Upanishad as the path to reach out to Paramatma. There may be secondary Upanishads Which may be propagating devotional duality, but we have to refer only to the main Upanishad commented by Bhagwan Shankaracharya.
There may be certain doubts that some Scriptures say do worship devotion and some say that these will not lead to Paramatma, how these conflicting statements are there.
The answer to this is; Scriptures are always correct. Nameless Formless Paramatma is Absolute Truth reached out based on rational quest and experienced through Blessings of. Sadguru. People who do not carry out deep thinking and find Vedant Dhnyan Principles are quite complex, for such people, worship – devotion is told as the part of their preparation. One who wants to study this subject in further detail, should go through the Scripture Panchadashi by Maharshi Vidyaranya Swami.
Devotion is illusion. However there are two kinds of illusion. One is samvadi (aligning type) and other is visamvadi (misaligned). This has been explained in, “Dev Kothe Ahe”. Once we are determined to think in this direction depicted in Vedant Dhnyan Principles, then gradually we will be able to grasp the truth embedded while doing our wordly duties. Once the falsehood of the visible world is recognized, then we can proceed on the path of detachment and imbibing Vedant doctrine.
