Review (4)

Review of First Four Chapters… 4

In third chapter detailed study of Omkar also was done.

Then just recently discourse on fourth chapter Sthul Dehanirasan was completed. In this chapter, Maharaj beautifully explained the Principle of Kshetra and Kshetradhnya depicted by Bhagwan Shrikrishna in thirteenth Adhyay of Shrimadbhagavatgita. There are two parts of each person. One is visible and other is subtle. One you can see with eyes, other is invisible to the eyes. The subtle part which is invisible that is the real part. That part only is the knower. This subtle, invisible part is the knower of the visible part.

The subtle, invisible part who is knower is Kshetradhnya and the visible part is Kshetra. Kshetra means farm. In farm the grains are sown. Seeds germinate into plants and grow to yield grains. Who knows about about Kshetra? When to plough, How to mend, when to water, when to put fertilizer etc. The farmer knows these. He only carries out all that.

Without Farmer there is no purpose of the farm. Farmer knowing the farm, knowing the Kshetra is Kshetradhnya. The farm is Kshetra. So we are Kshetradhnya. Our body is Kshetra. With this Kshetradhnya – Kshetra knowledge we will be able grasp Atma Anatma Vivek. We will be able to rationalise what is Eternal and what is temporary.
(This completes the review of the chapter Sthul Dehanirasan)
