Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj
Shatpanchashika Stotra… 19
(Based on the discourse in Hindi by Parampoojya Swami Anilji Maharaj)
Sankalpamatram vishvam sadgati mandamateryatha l Sankalpamatrabhata stri satya virahino bhramat ll26ll
Man under the anguish of separation of his beloved, considers the illusion of her coming as truth. Similarly foolish persons take this imaginary, illusion of the world as real. Such person remains attached to the body, body related relationships and the material world.

Getting Dhnyan is not a simple thing. Seeker has to undertake study of Shastras (scriptures). He has to serve Sadguru. He has to abide by strict discipline and rules. He has to undertake whatever Penance Sadguru tells to observe and carry out the tasks given by Sadguru. After putting efforts for all these when Seeker gets bestowed up on with Atmadhnyan by Sadguru, He immediately forgets all the sufferings. He even gives up all the means adopted for begetting Dhnyan like a carpenter abandoning his tools without any remorse or anguish.
Similar illustration has been given by Bhagwan Shankaracharya.
“N hi nadyah parago navam n munchati yatheshte deshagamanam prati swatantrye sati l”
Bhagwan Shankaracharya
Never does it happen that The person who crosses the river to reach the desired destination will not leave the boat.
That means such person will definitely leave the boat when he reaches to the desired destination because now the boat is no longer useful to him. The means (the boat) he had adopted served the purpose. So he will leave the means. Similarly the person who begot Atmadhnyan (with Blessings of Sadguru) after undertaking studies of Ved and Vedant, he has reached to the destination from where he will proceed towards Emancipation and unification with Paramatma. Now study of Ved is no longer useful to him. There is no point in continuing those studies. There is also no need of meditation or devotion.
After experiencing Paramatma with Dhnyan, there is no need of any kind of means. Dhnyani Mahatma leaves all the means he had adopted so far and remains in blissful state.
Great Saint Dhnyaneshwar Maharaj says the same thing (In Marathi)
“Jaise rasoushadh khare l Apule Kaj karoni pure l Apanahi nure l Taise hotase ll”
(The function of the Medicine is to restore the health of a person. There is no further requirement of the medicine, once the person is recovered from the ailment.
In same way after begetting Atmadhnyan, there is no purpose of the means adopted like Scriptures etc.)
