SHATAPANCHASHIKA STOTRA… 26

Pranam to Parampoojya Parameshwar Sadguru Swami Anilji Maharaj

Shatpanchashika Stotra… 26

(Based on the discourse in Hindi by Parampoojya Swami Anilji Maharaj)

“Adeyatmniriksharthamanatmadhiyamujwalam l Yathaaaaasyahinamukaro mukhasoundaryavikshane ll44ll”

To observe our own face properly, there is need of the mirror, not having any face within. In same way, to see our own Atma there is need of very sharp, buddhi, so subtle to enable grasping of the essence of the Eternal.

The meaning of the Shloka may appear contradictory but it is not so. Ignorant Seeker takes help from the Vidhnyan or Principles depicted in Scriptures. These principles are not Dhnyan in themselves. For seeking Atmadhnyan

One has to follow the the path of Shravan, Manan and Nididhyasan for reaching to Atmadhnyan with the Blessings of Sadguru.

“Kramen vardhamaneeentarbodhe hardtamaha kshayaha l Kalabhirvardhamaneeebje yatha naishatamha kshayaha ll45ll”

In the fortnight of Shukla, where in the shining size of moon keeps on increasing, the darkness keeps on decreasing. In same way when inner understanding keeps on increasing or Atma related Dhnyan keeps on increasing, the darkness of tamogun keeps on vanishing.

Pradhnyopi bodhitooontardrugjanatyanyanna kinchan l Grase Grase bodhitooopi nidrana iva balakaha ll46ll”

Many times we observe, how a mother keeps on feeding the sleepy child. Child opens his mouth with difficulty and again quickly goes to sleep. In same way Dhnyani Mahatma with lot of difficulty becomes aware of his body and world. While talking or doing anything, he is encapsulated in Atmanand (Supreme, Eternal Joy). (However, people in general can not grasp this. They keep on talking about worldly things and happenings with him which he hardly pay attention to.)
