As Khaptinath maharaj declared Swamiji Anilji Maharaj His heir, he assigned him with the holy purpose of spreading the true essence of the Upanishads and
Atmagyan(enlightenment) to every corner of the world. Being the most ideal
disciple Swamiji immediately started working for this great purpose, discussing
and getting approvals from his beloved Guru regarding the steps he wishes to
take. However, in 2003 Khaptinath Maharaj took samadhi .Swamijii renounced His worldly life completely and the very next year in 2004, Swamiji founded SUGWAY the Society of Understanding God Within and Around You. 

INTRODUCTION:
SUGWAY(Society for Understanding God Within and Around You), was first
established by Parampujya Swamiji Anilji Maharaj in 2004 at Chandur, Maharashtra. Swamiji, built this platform/ashram of Sugway to execute his holy
intent of paving the way to divine happiness for one and all. Constructed on the
principles by Shri Adi Shankaracharyaji, SUGWAY functions on the essence of Adwaita Gyan.

BACKGROUND:

As Arjuna was engulfed in agonizing misery on the battlefield of
Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna gave him the armour of Atmagyan(Self-realisation/enlightenment), detaching him from the simulacrum world. Making him see the world and the simulations in them for what they were, a hollow illusion with decided fates or storylines. In the same manner, Swamiji through SUGWAY wants to reach out to every person suffering from misery and guide them towards a happy and content life.SUGWAY is an institution to guide individuals towards the path of happiness.

IDEOLOGY:
The thought behind our stand:
• In the ancient and medieval era only a handful of people were educated .
Most percentage of masses either leaned towards agriculture , eventually
just working on farms or leaned towards trade and commerce. Both these
sectors only required the knowledge passed down through generations of a
family i.e. no formal education was required.

• This lead to only handful of educated class learning Sanskrit. Sanskrit, the
holy language in which most of the auspicious Hindu scriptures(vedas) were
written. Hence, vast sections of the masses were incompetent at
understanding the true essence of Hindu Dharma hidden in those
scriptures(vedas). This resulted in the need to introduce them to different
means of devotions like devotional songs etc.

• However, today the world is globalised. It is well educated and up to date
with everything that goes around. Anything you do not know is one type
away from you to learn.

• In such time and date continuing with alternate methods of devotion is
pointless. With an evolved and educated brain ,one only need to push
through the barriers of ignorance to reach the true essence of Hindu Vedas.
VISION : SUGWAY envision’s to be the navigating star to all those stranded in the
chaotic ocean of life and wish to seek the calming shores. The ethereal platform
of SUGWAY was raised with the sole intent to accommodate all (of any caste or
creed) who wish to bask in the warmth of eternal bliss.

MISSION :

With the apparatus of Gurusewa and sacred literature (Books by Swamiji and Vedas), SUGWAY intends to achieve its vision of paving the way to eternal happiness for all. At SUGWAY one is encouraged to dive deep into the wisdom hidden in these ancient scriptures and apply this wisdom into one’s daily life. Sugway aspires to inspire one to unravel the wisdom of experiencing perpetual bliss in one’s daily life. The SUGWAY TRUST got formulated only with the sole purpose to spread goodness in society. This is a not for profit organization, that serves as a platform for Swamji Anilji Maharaj to execute His holy intent. The intent to bring the highest doctrine of the Ancient Eternal Knowledge of Indian Culture, called Atmagyan to the people, thereby bestowing a state of Bliss, Happiness and Tranquility at the highest level.

GOUSHALA
(COW SHELTER)
The cow is said to be pure, nourishing and life-giving, hence the presence of
gaushala on the ashram land makes it even more pure and hallowed. SUGWAY takes in and provides for the cows abandoned by poor farmers and cows saved by police. We gladly accept any abandoned cow as a blessing. The fodder for the cows is procured from a farmer directly. No cow is exploited for any sort of commercial purpose. The excess milk(if any) is donated to an orphanage closest to the Ashram premises. The cows are provided with regular health check ups and vaccinations . Any sick cow is given immaculate care and attention. Today our family of cows has extended up to a hundred. As a form of Guruseva , Goseva(service to cows) is considered the most auspicious at SUGWAY.
SUGWAY does accept donations for the welfare of these holy bovine mother.

ASHRAMAS:
As of 2022, SUGWAY has active Ashrams with hygienic and adequate living
accommodations in Mumbai, Chandur and Bhopal. For various projects and events
disciples from different corners of the world come and visit these ashrams time
to time. All developments pertaining to the ashrams are conducted under strict
guidance of Parampujya Swamiji Anilji Maharaj. However, a stay in the ashram
with the auspicious opportunity to serve Guruji Swami Anilji Maharaj is bestowed
on few on rare occasions.
